Post Christmas thoughts....

Christmas went by much easier and better than expected.  I went up to my cousin Susan's house and hung out there most of the day.  They made the most crazy & amazing gingerbread lights up. Susan designed it and her friend built it.  It is not a pattern or a mold, they literally designed the whole thing from scratch.  Amazing, right?!

It was a fun day. Susan always make a great dinner and I brought some cupcakes from Crumbs, my favorite cupcake bakery! They just opened a store in the Natick Mall.

Christmas started off really hard....missing my mom and Stephanie. And then I opened the mail, and got the best gift from Stephanie's husband Jeff.  An ornament with a photo of Stephanie and I that I can always put on my tree.  Isn't it nice? It didn't photograph too well, but the photo is crisp and clear and beautiful.

And of course, I have my cute little cat Bella to cheer me up around the holidays. I filled a stocking with toys for her, which she loved and now the house is a mess because she played with them all day and tossed them all around.

The best part of Christmas was the giving.  This year, I adopted kids to buy Christmas gifts for and I really went over the top.  I loved shopping for all their cute toys!

I also signed up to volunteer at the Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton.  I signed up for dog walking and cat socialization.  I cannot wait to start!!

I hope you all had a great holiday, and that you are excited for 2013.  I know I am.  I have a lot of goals and resolutions, and this year I am determined to accomplish them!
