Amazing Grace

It doesn't matter how many times I hear Amazing Grace, it makes me tear up every.single.time.   This version by Chris Tomlin was a song that Stephanie and I would listen to when I took her to treatments, and sadly it was also a song that was played at her funeral.  The song just touches me.  Hearing the words "my chains are gone, I've been set free" are so powerful, because Stephanie has truly been set free of the chains of cancer and is with her Lord.   In church today, the Pastor spoke about how God's grace is available to anyone who believes and it's not your actions or things in your life that determine if God loves you...he just does.  It doesn't mean we shouldn't all try to live good lives, it just means that He still loves us.  We all sang Amazing Grace and I can't help it but the tears just come.

When I hear this song, I see Stephanie happy and healthy and in Heaven free from cancer.  This photo best describes how I see her in my mind...

I hope everyone has a happy, blessed and safe Sunday.
xoxo Nikki
