Monday Kick-Start!!

Happy Monday everyone!  I love Mondays! It's a fresh start to a new week!  If you're feeling kind of blah and down and not energetic on this Monday, maybe it's time to give AdvoCare a try.  Since I started using these supplements, I've notice a huge increase in my energy and my overall health.  This is NOT a diet plan or a fad, they are just really good supplements to help with your healthy lifestyle.  Before I started with AdvoCare, I would buy supplements at health stores or the grocery store.  The problem with doing that is I had no idea what the true quality was of the products I was purchasing.  With AdvoCare, I know that the quality is excellent and even my own doctor commented on the quality!

If you need a little kick-start to your Monday, consider trying AdvoCare.  Email me at nikkidevaux at gmail dot com if you'd like to learn more or click the links below to order!

Here are some of my favorite AdvoCare products!

Spark! Instead of coffee in the morning, I drink Spark. It's a vitamin, amino acid and energy supplement that has the amount of caffeine as one cup of coffee which is likely less caffeine than that big Starbucks coffee you're about to drink! And Spark is HEALTHY!!!!  My favorite flavors are Watermelon and Pink Lemonade.  If you are on the go a lot, I'd buy the pouches so you can put them in your bag and add them to a bottled water.  The canister is the best bang for your buck though.

Another favorite of mine is the Meal Replacement Shakes!  They are SO filling and taste great.  You can even get them in a non-dairy vegetarian option.  I love the chocolate mocha.

If you'd like to amp-up your workouts, try Catalyst! This amino acid supplement helps maintain muscle mass during exercise and weight loss.  This product gives great results!!!

Another great option for kick starting your healthy life is to do an Herbal Cleanse.  Now don't be mistaken, this is NOT a cleanse like you hear about on TV or from celebrities where you don't eat and you are just drinking strange drinks all day long and feeling tired and sick.  You DO eat on the Herbal Cleanse and the goal of it is not extreme weight loss, it's to help gently cleanse your system to better absorb the vitamins and aid in gradual HEALTHY weight loss.   The Herbal Cleanse package includes the Herbal Cleanse pills plus the Fiber Drink.  I suggest you mix the Fiber Drink with a low calorie juice like Trop 50 so it's a little easier to take (it can be thick).  You'll also want to take it with Spark.  Eat clean and exercise and you'll see the results!

People have asked me what my normal day looks like for food/exercise and AdvoCare.  Here's a sample of what my day looks like.  I will start including recipes on the blog too in future posts.

Morning:  1 scoop of Spark mixed with 24 ounces of water.  1 AdvoCare Apple Cinnamon Bar
Late Morning: 1 apple
Lunch:  Salad with romaine lettuce, tiny sprinkle of blue cheese, sliced strawberries (organic!), pistachios and sometimes some grilled chicken.  I love this dressing...Brianna's Blush Wine Vinaigrette.   It's SO good on strawberries! 2 tablespoons have 120 calories, so I do go easy on it, but it's delicious and worth it!  I also have a big bottle of water with lunch.
Midday Snack:  Pretzel Crisps with hummus (a favorite of mine).  I also have another Spark with 24 ounces of water.
Dinner:  It varies. Sometimes if I'm home and have just worked out, I'll have a Meal Replacement Shake for dinner.  If I got out, I'll try to eat a little lighter for lunch.  If I'm cooking at home, I like making any meal with a lean protein (a vegetarian source of protein like quinoa is great!) and lots of veggies! I stay away from pasta and rice unless it's brown rice.
Dessert: I don't eat dessert often, but my favorite when I do is a graham cracker with peanut butter and fluff! That is NOT clean eating, but it's so delicious I make an exception.  Life is about moderation and this is a lifestyle NOT a diet.

My workouts are usually either a run (at least 2 miles, sometimes more) with a strength training session too.  My cousin Sally is a trainer so if you're in the metrowest MA area, let me know and I'll send you her number!  In addition I ride horses, which is an awesome core workout!   Gotta get back to work now!

Happy Monday everyone! Make it great!!!
